Anybody heard of/using this? It's apparently been around for quite a while now but I just caught up with the bus. Interesting product with a great set of features - IM, sharing, streaming, remote control, and other stuff, all in one, 192 bit encryption using P2P networking, and more. Site address is www.qnext.com

Could be. Have found a major flaw so far.....can only connect to one user name per IM client - at least as of this release - so it kind of kills teh "end all be all" factor for me....but there is still hope since it's in beta. Will prolly mess with it from my home laptop a bit more than from here at the office but if you guys wanted to try setting up a DCAWD specific P2P group (as can apparently be done with this here application and a connection the InNaRweB5) then I'd definitely be down for some testing. Could be some good stuff. The devs basically say that yes, it's an IM client, but is also so much more focusing on its ability to not only communicate with your friends but also share files, songs, pictures, applications, and pretty much anything else with them via this app. If the whole thing comes together it could make for a very interesting leap in online communication.

Sounds like something that I was actually thinking about doing at one point (still am, just need the time!). Basically setting up a secure way for people to have a P2P network of just friends.
