That is a great little package for the price! I see one of these in my future...

wish they could get it down to $900, that would really help me justify it to myself.

lazy question: will they run XP well enough? yeah, I'm only interested in dual booting...

EDIT: you have to pony up $1500 to get it in black? that's teh uber-lam3.

XP runs great on my MBP... You should be fine. I'll admit, it is nice to have both OSes at my disposal. With a reboot time of ~20 secs it's not an issue at all :)

There is an evil side of me that wants to run both at the same time... Maybe Xen can help... but that would require ALOT of hacking... <yoda> succeed I will </yoda>. Now someone go buy me one so I can do it!

after running some benchmarks on the mac book... all i can say is wow.. whlie the new mac book pro is still a bit dicey (apple has to iron out some issues with overheating and such) the new line of laptops are simply incredible... running just about as fast as my dual-proc PowerMac G5....

*Edit*

and another benchmark result.. windows runs better and faster on a mac than it does on a windows machine.. go figure
