Hey all, I got this site from Vince to contact Julian. I'm moving up to the DC area for the summer and he figured you could show me around the car scene up there. So I figured I'd post up on the forum and say whats up and introduce myself, Ryan by the way. I know I don't fit in the with the AWD, but if want to check out my truck, here it is. Anyways, hope to hear from you and maybe see some of you guys in the DC area over summer, peace.

what's up? you don't necessarily have to have an awd vehicle to come to meets and stuff. we have a couple fwd's. i snuck into a few meets with my mazda 6 back in the proverbial day

Yep, all are welcome. Most folks figure out pretty quick that its more about personality than it is about drivetrain when it comes to fitting in.

+1 anybody/everybody is welcome, but a strong interest in automobiles helps...


edit: I think you're DCAWD's first Truck. this means you're on keg duty.

Excuse me, first truck said what? There was that time when I was driving around the red Chevy Colorado. I had a EJ engine and an AWD tranny in there. Just in the bed of the truck though...

but seriously, we'd be glad to talk crap and drink good beer w/ you when you get up here.

Welcome to the boards! Nice truck! Definitely let me know when you are coming up and we'll meet up. The DC area has a pretty healthy car scene for just about anyone. Come out to a couple of our meets and you'll be in good company!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, i'm up in DC right now, I'm actually at Pentagon City Mall as I type this. I'd love to meet up with you guys and chill but I'm not sure how often I can get on this site and check so somebody might need to call me.
