03 wagon suspension!

Post by BryanH »

Cusco RSB with kartboy endlinks
Prodrive Springs
KYB GR2 struts
GrpN tophats

All add up to :D without my wife going :puke: .

I haven't autox in probably a decade and my main goal was just to have more fun going to and from work...and thats EXACTLy what I got. With none of the bouncy bounce I got in the last SPT equipped wagon I went for a ride in.

Now I just need to do something about that God awful sounding stereo and I will be happy again.

Just keep in mind that when Bryan does stereo gear he doesn't do it half way... :)

And you would in no way be implying that teh Kleen suxores his system, right?
Patience is the ability to idle your motor when you feel like stripping your gears

Thats putting it quiet mildly...

I REALLY want a ride in both Bryan and Colins car. Since suspension is my next mod, I need to get a feel for what the different setups are. I really like Zak's Tein's with the EDFC though...

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

do you want to have kids? Zaks setup is just too much for me. I just put swifts on my car... no top hats though, so its a little bouncy... but WAY better than stock.

thanks for the vote of confidence, Zak. I'm a mild audiophile with a penchant for cost/benefit analysis. I'm always interested in comparing ideas especially with somebody who's efforts are described as "doesn't do it half way!"

Actually, not sure on that one... I really don't find Zak's setup to be too bad...

I had a sub....I sold it....for like 50$. I got tired of it and decided I want to try something different. Dont really know what yet.

So I am left with an Alpine 9833 HU which I hate and will be ripping out to replace with an Eclipse or there is this one Pioneer I really like or maybe I will find a nakamichi, Zapco amps, old school a/d/s speakers, and no sub for now. Or maybe I will replace my front stage again with some Morel this time.

morel.... yummy.

i've got a mcintosh 6 channel sitting under my bed, begging to be used (ran an install bay for a while)

i need to decide on a good front stage, whether i am going to go with 2-way or 3-way components up front, kick panels vs door panels, both, etc...

and i gotta get around to making a decent fiberglass trunk/box/amp rack.

my jl 8w6's are feeling neglected as well :(

This should come with a "See Bryan" at the end of it. Actually, knowing some of the installs that you have done Colin, I'll add you name to that too! I still want to see pictures of that Porsche!
