Great new Mac commercials.

I'm guessing these didn't get posted by Colin since he doesn't want to be the only Mac zellot!
Watch all of these. Pretty good stuff. Sadly, I don't think that Mac will be a virus "free" OS for much longer.

i foresee a bitter and angst-ridden rebuttle from the pc world. yes. it's coming.
<-- used to dislike macs, but thanks to a certain nerdy roommate, am now on the fence. neither is better. they're just different. if you play games like i used to *way too much* pc's are better, but even now with the macbook pro you can't use that excuse any more (unless it's strictly a price argument, in which case you can rationally argue against having to spend 3 grand on a macbook when you can build an awesome pc gaming rig for half that).

^^^ I agree, I really think some of the popular arguments are a bit over the top (coming from teh mac camp). I certainly would NOT advertise an "immunity" to virii and such. Never mind the fact that you are potentially alienating the "target group" they're trying to reach. If I were a hard-core M$ d00d, I would probably be pretty turned off by the ads.
That being said... I think there is definitely room for both OS's - they both have their strengths and weaknesses. They wouldn't be financially viable if that weren't the case. Period.
Do I want to see a larger user base for macs? of course. Do I think calling ALL pc's inherently flawed and vulnerable is a good way to do it? Not really. To be honest, I think my work PC has flat out "crashed" maybe once or twice in the year and a half I've been here... I think there is some serious FUD spreading on Apple's part, but we all know how much FUD is being spread from the other direction forever as well.
Why can't we all just get along?!?
<--- still would rather have a mac... real computers have shells

speaking of shells, and items poorly named, anyone play with powershell yet?

Does anyone remember the "Mac - Crash Different" video that was played at a Windows expo some years ago? I have the file but need to find a host. It's about 3.5MB. It did what Colin was hinting at - poked fun at the weaknesses of the Mac.
Pretty funny.
