Fuel Pump Question

Does anyone have any idea if the fuel pump in the sti is the same as the one in the Forester XT? Planning to upgrade the turbo and ecu over the winter and I know that the injectors are the same but someone on another forum mentioned that I would need a new pump. Does it make sense to run the larger injectors with a smaller pump? It just does not make sense to me.

No it doesn't make sense. I think a Walbro GSS342 will drop in, but you need to make sure.

I have found out that supposedly the sti pump is a in-tank version and the fxt is not. It looks like I will not need it for my current set up but it will come in time I am sure. Once I figure out what em I am going to run I will then look for a different pump/injectors. But the sti set up should get me smiling for a little while!
