anybody know a local source for the 8mm speed bleeders (SB7100)? I called Mach V but they don't have them and claim that they can't get them any more. ???
I tired to get through to Oakos on Monday to order them in time for a weekend install, but couldn't get a response until Thursday.
either I bleed them the old fashioned way or I wait. again. (as soon as I saw Julian bleeding his brakes with the SBs I should have ordered them right away)

^^^ That sucks, we can always do it next weekend though!
EDITED CAUSE I'M SLOW FOR YOUR PLEASURE:
Bleeding them the old way isn't that big a deal, it's just a little more effort.

Gabe,
I know they sell them at the local CarQuest. There is one right down the street from where I work off Sterling Blvd.

Autozone had some speed bleeders, but they were huge. like 14 mm or something. I just did it the old fashioned way with Julian's help. I think I will order a set and next time I do brake work I'll install them.

But you did get at least one install accomplished, correct?

front 4pots are on and bled. front springs are on. rear seat is out. rear springs are still stock (for the moment).
I need to take a picture, Betty looks like a bad muscle car, all hiked up in the back...

We were talking on google talk about how we both had less than 4 hours of sleep, due to completely different circumstances. Friday morning.

Your running into the same problem I had with speed bleeders. No one had 8 mm when I was looking either. I just ended up skipping them. Oakos said they would have them in-stock the week after I needed them. E-mail them and see if they respond.

that's where I'll get them, when I eventually get them. right now I'm looking for an impact wrench for Zak's air compressor...
