Windows Vista Delayed Until 2007!

Latest update from News.com.

The consumer version(s) of Vista will be delayed from November 2006 until January 2007.

From the seeded builds of Vista I have been using, I'm not surprised. There were quite a few issues with memory management and drivers. It definitely had some neat ideas though. Hopefully this time around they wait to release because they actually want a bug free product...As opposed to using the first 100K customers as "beta testers".

I'm not suprised at all either. They are REALLY touting the hell out of this OS as being redesigned from the ground up (the kernel is completely new from what I understand). That and a couple of other things are going to make this a hard release for them. Hopefully the final product will be worth it though.

I still like my BSD+Enlightenment better though, haha.
