friday 3/3. beer team meeting.
since i know a decent number of you all now, i've been authorized to grant you membership to the beer team, occasionally referred to as the beer squadron, beer clan, fraternal order of beer. the beer team takes their role in society very seriously. do not underestimate what it means to be a charter member of the beer team. a privledge has been bestowed upon you. carry your beer team membership as if it were a badge of honor.
the beer team is a secret society, so secret that if we're overheard discussing the beer team agenda in a public area, ninjas will jump out of the walls and kill everyone in the room. we have no secret handshake, no secret question, no secret password. we are just that mysterious. in fact, you may pass fellow team members on the street every day and not know it. you'll never know it. once you're granted membership, you can never resign your membership. there are no dues, but there is no way out. branded for life.
tonight's meeting will take place at an as of yet undetermined location in old town alexandria. this is short notice, mainly due to laziness, i mean necessity... we can't give the enemy too much lead time on our whereabouts. i will post exact times and coordinates later this morning.
welcome, brothers, to the beer team. you are now part of something greater than yourself. do not discuss the beer team with your friends and family, for you would only serve to endanger those you hold dear to your heart. such a paradox.... to be part of such an exclusive club that nobody outside of the brotherhood will ever know.
i'd better get moving. they're watching.

^^^ Sounds great... but....
Today is a very sad day for me, for <gasp> I do not drink beer </gasp>. I am shamed and will disallow any knowledge of said team to be spread from my lips.
Can't we all just get along?

Gee, THANKS Gabe... and I'll take that fine alcoholic beverage of my choice off your hands
If anyone wants to ride together, feel free to come by my place (probably around 7:30). Speaking of which... are we meeting up at 8/9PM?
BTW, should I even ask what the hell a glass bottom boat is?

I won't be out and about until 8:30 or 9. I guess I'll have to cab it because I plan on having more to drink than is legal to drive.sabre wrote:If anyone wants to ride together, feel free to come by my place (probably around 7:30). Speaking of which... are we meeting up at 8/9PM?
