Getting to this before Colin wasn't easy!

- New Mac Mini based on Intel Core Duo with "4x" performance
- HiFi IPod mini, basically a boom box for your Mini

There were some other things, but they were mostly like a leather case for the IPod... big woop. There was mention of a "Front Row with Bonjour" update as well.

I figured if I posted at 1300, i.e. right after the announcement I might have to live down the "mac zealot" jokes I usually get. Nevermind my avatar...

The intel based mini is a tempting choice for a HTPC now that it has S-VID and optical audio in and out as well as DVI. Grab yourself one of those Elgato HDTV tuners or a regular TV tuner and you've got quite the PVR. And it will work well, be easy to set up...And it's a Mac!

I have to admit, this is VERY tempting now. I just wish I could upgrade the video card! Since I already built my PVR, I have no need for that function... doesn't mean it's not tempting though, haha.
