But if these dont get sold though, I might just keep them and use it as alternating tires for the season.

after checking the NASA rulebook, I didn't see anything that even mentioned slicks for HPDE use. they only mention tire condition, not type. I thought there was a provision stating that the tires had to be street legal, but I can't find it in print.

I'd LOVE to have a go at Summit Point with these tires, but I just don't have the cash for them. good luck with the sale!
