I get the N54 swap, but honestly, I have found the numbers on the N20 have been very promising.
270 whp / 300 lbft. stage 2 (downpipe & tune) not bad for a 2.0.

A buddy has a 328i with the N20. Personally I would pay the extra for an N54 (even over the N55). If it's worth doing...
