OK, well maybe just the bodywork and interior, but damned cool idea.
Kiwi prints Aston Martin DB-4
How many BMW V-12s are out there? Surely not cheap to find, eh?

Re: Print the car of your dreams
While I applaud the idea, I think it is terribly flawed.
First, his "donor vehicle is a Nissan Skyline GTS25T, which is a great car in it's own right. I can't believe there isn't a cheaper option.
Also, he intends to install a BMW V12. Why? All the way through the 1990s it's hp / torque ratings were only 300 / 305.
The GTS25T is worth 270 hp bone stock (6psi) and that was underrated. A couple of simple and cheap mods and it will put down 350+ whp reliably!
The 5.0 BMW V12 is a reliability disaster. Everything I have ever heard about them screams money pit.

Re: Print the car of your dreams
As I read it, the V-12 had already gone into one of his GTO project that had a 25T, so he has the bits and pieces already available to go into this project. Still begs the question as to why the BMW block was chosen the first time around, but looks like he has learned from his mistake?

Yeah, the BMW V12 is for his Ferrari kit car (Z car based I think).
