That is beautiful!
Now all it needs is a down-pipe, TMIC and a tune!
We can talk later.

Woot!! Congrats brudda!! I'm so glad that you were able to find it so quickly. These cars don't generally last on the dealer lots for long. It's real hard to find an unmolested example. Good luck and let us know how we can help out with anything.

Congrats! Looks awesome...I'm also a fan of white
As far as the tails go...VHT makes the red tint paint that I've seen have great results and there are a ton of writeups online for you to be able to do it yourself. Just a suggestion

Congratulations!
As far as tail light tints, we took Anna's to Winners Tint up in MD. They did an okay job. We had to go back because it started coming off around the parts where it curves. They basically glued it back to the light and used a heat gun to shrink it where they could.

I don't think I'll paint the tail lights, it's too permanent. I thinking about buying the tint and doing it myself since most folks that pay to have it done it turns out "ok".
Adam, would you recommend Winners? Mind telling me how much they charged?

Started a detail. Good thing about biking and metro'ing to work is that the car can sit in the garage for a long time. I got the front end done and will do a little here and there each night after work.
White cars is hard to make pop unlike red or black cars.

Thanks!
Here's what I've been up to. I removed the pin stripe (sorry no pics yet) and the clear bra in front of the rear wheel wells. I think it's a much cleaner look with it gone.

$8 for a large bottle of Goo Gone.

I'm looking in to getting an AP to go stage 1. But then I got to thinking.. with a downpipe, I can jump right to stage 2 for moar powers!
I'm thinking about the CNT catted downpipe. It looks like a great bargain. Which other downpipes should I take a look at? Anyone have first hand experience with CNT products?

I don't have any experience with CNT products, but at $370 it looks like a good buy for a catted full length down-pipe. (Invidia knock-off).
You will need to get either a flat flange adapter (Grimm Speed has them for $40) for your stock cat-back or a different cat-back exhaust.
That said, I would point you toward Daddy's "shorty" down-pipe for $240.
http://www.daddysscp.com/product_p/mdsh08.htm
It keeps your second (least restrictive) cat in place and keeps the cat further down the exhaust stream for less turbo back pressure. Not to mention the $130 savings! The quality of their pieces has gotten high marks on the forums as well.
Also, the stock WRX TMIC's are known to fail under increased boost pressure. You can either "bulletproof" your TMIC (there are kits out there for about $50) or buy a larger aftermarket TMIC. I got a Torx Racing for $300 shipped. It is essentially a Perrin clone which is almost twice stock size and is a bar & plate contruction. I e-mailed them direct (
sales@torxracing.com) and asked if they would still honor the price offered on NASIOC. They said yes and I PayPaled them and got the TMIC in 2 days. I have not installed it on My LGT yet, but it looks to be a quality unit. The photos on their site are incorrect. Just make sure you request the 08 WRX / 05 LGT TMIC. They make one for the 02-07 WRX / 04+ STi as well.

I'm not usually a fan of the "blued titanium" exhaust tips but it works with the pearl white. Have you considered blue wheels?
