Early 2014 Jeep Cherokee Shots Show Off Its Aggressive Face

Next month Chrysler is expected to debut the replacement for the Jeep Liberty, which will reportedly revive the Cherokee name here in the U.S. It looks like a facotry insider managed to grab some shots of a few prototypes that were then sent over to the guys at Jalopnik.
From these shots it looks like the Cherokee is going to get a rather aggressive face that is a big departure from the flat faced Liberty. Inside the Cherokee will get an interior that is similar to the larger Grand Cherokee. The Cherokee is expected to be based off the same Alfa Romeo platform that also is the basis for the Dodge Dart.

I don't think you're wrong. The Grand Cherokee isn't quite as puke-inspiring and it has a similar grille.

the grille extends on the plane of the hood and the lighting is split into lower projectors and upper parking/signal, etc. I think a Nissan Juke did similar positions but all in one piece. Not sure which is worse...

Ok, now that I've seen it in a dark color I can say I'm not a fan.
Does the white one make anyone else think of a shar pei? No? Just me?
