It's riding like ass and I am thinking it's possibly just bouncing off the bump stops. I'm pretty split between coil overs and a good strut/spring combo. I am just looking for a good street-able setup with maybe a 1" drop.

If you're going to stay with the stock struts, you have a couple of options. I would recommend installing a set of grease fittings so that you can lube them periodically to avoid the dreaded clunk.

If you don't feel like doing that yourself, you can send them to Feal and they will install the grease fittings and revalve them if you want.

For the drop you are looking for, take a look at the RCE black springs. I haven't tried them yet, but I think that is going to be what goes on the STI next (the TIC SST coil overs I have are going on my race car).

STI Strut/Spring upgrades
I figured I would post a PM that I had with Andrew to help others out there

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

Re: STI Strut/Spring upgrades
I've never seen it done, but could you get away with using 02-03 WRX top hats and AGX struts on 05-07 STis?
It would be a much cheaper option than coilovers.
I know the 04 STi's (and 04-07 WRXs) will take AGX or Tokico D-Specs with strut spacers.

Re: STI Strut/Spring upgrades
Hmm, that's an interesting idea! I don't know if it would work or not.
BTW, I love TiC's stuff and this package looks pretty decent!
