Went for a ride in an Aston Martin Vantage

My neighbor took me for a ride in his Aston Martin Vantage! It sounded glorious and he could break the rear loose at will. The sight lines were good but you can't see the hood AT ALL. I'd hate to try to park in a small space like the garage downstairs.
There are a lot of odd details inside the car:
The parking brake is between the driver's seat and the door sill.
The spedo rotated clockwise (on the left) and the tach rotated counterclockwise (on the right). It was a nice effect but I'm not sure if it would be as easy to read at a glance.
The window switches feel backwards (push to go up, pull to go down).
There's a pen in the dash. It looks like a button but when you push it a very nice pen pops out.
The nav and stereo controls looked very difficult to use (he muttered something under his breath while trying to cancel the nav destination).
There's an umbrella mounted in the boot, but it is an English car...
I was so excited and busy talking with him about the car that I didn't take any pictures.
