Yet Subaru has racked up more endorsements by independent arbiters of automotive quality and safety than just about any other manufacturer. Consumer Reports rates Subaru above Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and every other manufacturer in performance, comfort, utility, and reliability, and says the company makes the best cars in America.
Nothing any of us will find revelatory, but it's worth a read.
Great read Amazing how high Subaru ranks, even among luxury brands, in quality and safety. It's the little car company that's making the right decisions I'm happy to own three!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
maybe they can put good paint and make fun cars again soon (BRZ excluded....Subaru can't claim a complete victory on that as it wasn't their idea).

2012 Chrysler 300C SRT8 - Always bet on black

But they did all the engineering. Now if they could only add 75HP...
I'd love to see the STi go upmarket and have interior and exterior styling/materials on par with BMW, Mercedes and Audi. I'd gladly pay $50k for something like that. Too bad there aren't enough of us in the market to make a case for a "halo car."
We used to say that about the Legacy SPec B. take the quality up about 50% in the cabin and add a potent H6T and it would go toe to tOe with the Germans. Instead, Subaru took it to Camry-land seeking mass market appeal

Subaru should dip its toe in the sporty-lux pool as Gabe said. 1 model only. The rest of their lineup needs to get back to what endeared them to so many in the first place... tough, fun, quirky cars with oddball styling. It hurts me to see them watering down int/ext design for the sake of mass market appeal.
