I like the look of it from the outside, but the inside is hideous. Put a nice little 2l 4 with a turbo and I'll be all about itSmart has unveiled the new ForStars concept that will debut this month at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The ForStars concept is a two-seater coupe that smart refers to as a SUC (Sports Utility Coupé).
The ForStars concept is also an electric vehicle that borrows its 60kW electric motor the Smart BRABUS. smart boss Dr Annette Winkler says: "The smart is Europe's most inexpensive series-produced electric car. Not only is it emission-free and fast, it is also possible to conveniently set the perfect interior temperature in advance with a smartphone, and it is simple to charge at a domestic socket. What's more, with its powerful battery and integrated projector the smart forstars can transform any grey backyard into an animated open-air cinema."
The ForStars concept features familiar smart styling, with many styling cues borrowed from the Smart For-Us concept that was unveiled earlier this year. The forstars concept rides on a wheelbase that is longer than the current for-two and it has has a wider track and more ground clearance. One unique styling feature is the convex glass coupé roof that joins seamlessly with the glass cover over the cargo area which opens upwards.
Inside the ForStars concept mother-of-pearl white accents combined with brushed aluminium. The color "alubeam rouge" that is also used as an accent color in the interior creates a link to the exterior.
