Ongoing project @ Bilbo. 1953 Ford F150 frame off resto-rod project. Years ago modded the frame to accept modern airbag suspension, and did modern steering rack and brakes.

And restored the body, painted the cab and installed the wooden truck bed floor. Wheels/tires are just for rolling it around for now. We changed the hubs to accommodate an easier to find bold pattern and the tires will be about the last investment since they dryrot sitting anyway.

Then it sat covered outside at customer's house a couple years while he had other projects going on and now its back for another phase so that is why you can see some surface rust in places which will be taken care of.

Instead of the old flathead engine, going w/ more modern V8. Was fitted one before but now pulled to finish firewall.

Bucket seats seen in bed pic will replace the original bench seat.

Like the smoothed firewall.

Is that an older 8.8 in the rear? Is he doing a C clip eliminator if so? Hate to see a runaway tire and axle shaft. Been there, done that.

Whats the steering rack out of?

Cant talk him into fuel injection?
