Stage 2 emissions question

Hey peeps, I'm considering going stage 2. Alexandria requires emissions testing so just wanted to know if anyone with stage 2 has had any emissions-related problems.

*edit - found the answer to the dp question.

Wouldn't pass with my catless but I put the OEM down pipe back on and I was good to go.

I passed emissions testing in Alexandria easily enough now that they just OBD-II, and technically I was catless (had a pipe that started out full of cats, but one by one, they left until none were left...)
But I did get dinged for safety with an exhaust leak.

So rock the STG-2, but just make sure your gaskets do their job.

Yep, now that all they use is OBD-II checks, it's easy to pass with one or no cats. Load up stage two and have fun!

Getting ready to do the same thing in Arlington, anyone had any issues there?

seems like most of us are in the same emissions inspection boat.
But there should be no inspection differences from one county to another on the list.

you all have it SO easy.

CO does mandatory load-referenced tailpipe checks. without at least one really, really expensive cat (turboxs cat is not enough) you will fail. :(

This is where you run your tank down to 1/4 or so and add a gallon of toluene. Wait a day or two and then take it for testing.

while that may be true initially... it doesn't get you by the mobile smog stations that test you at random on and off ramps in the area. fail two of those in a year and they'll yank your registration.

they don't fool around at all when it comes to emissions here. it really only takes one good smoggy day in downtown denver to understand.

i've been researching some of the higher-end randomtech cats available. but a twin-catted downpipe is somewhere in the ballpark of a grand to a grand and a half. dunno, we'll see.

Stop me if you have heard this before, but...
WATER INJECTION

Equal to a Prius that comes in at 18 ppm.
