Re: New guy here just saying hello
Hey, wifey and I live in Arlington, so we're just a hair north of you. Like Gabe, we don't own a Subaru anymore (just got a new car this year actually), but it is a good group of folks. I spent a lot of time out in Seattle when I was working for Microsoft. Man, I love that town. Tough choice when thinking of the places I want to go back to, it's always at the top of my list with Hawaii, strange as that may seem.
Welcome aboard.

Welcome! I work at Beyer Subaru in Alexandria. Please stop by when you get a chance and drop off some cards. I'm always looking for vendors for tint, detailing, etc..
I rarely make it to the meets nowadays. But this is one of the coolest group of guys that you'll meet in the area.

Re: New guy here just saying hello
I used to work at a detail shop before the airforce, so much fun but it sucks in the cold weather. People would always come ask for a wax while it was snowing and our details were underneath an outdoor tarp. Such a waste of time because the wax would never dry we would just kinda go light on the application and smeer the rest til it looked acceptable.

Have you begun to mod the Forester yet?
If not, I will be the voice in your ear luring you to the Dark Side.

Heh, I used to be that way. Now you should see the attic and garage.sumpunkster wrote:Looking for parts everyday though.
I would say make a plan and stick to it. Otherwise you may end up with two engine blocks, three transmissions....
We will be on the lookout for you tonight.

Re: New guy here just saying hello
Welcome to the group As has been echo'ed above, we're a fun group that loves cars (and our 2WD brothers too, haha). Sorry I didn't meet you at the White Elephant meet, but hopefully I can introduce myself next time!
BTW, we all carry an assortment of parts. Between all of us, we could probably build a car from scratch!
