4th Annual GMU DSM Meet

Post by gsx rated90_98 »

4th Annual GMU DSM Meet
March 11, 2006 @ 1:00pm
Parking Lot K, GMU Fairfax Campus

This is going to be the biggest event yet! We have several new ideas for this year. Team Trinity has invited Electric Plus, Redline Design, JRP, Hi PSI and Slow Boy Racing to set up tents to showcase their new products for the season and donate prizes for our raffle drawing. Raffle tickets $2 each or 3 for $5.

Also, be sure to enter into the car show, $5 admission fee and receive a free raffle ticket. The show is open to all cars. All participants must have their registration forms into the Team Trinity tent by 3:00pm. Judging will start at 3:00pm. Awards will be presented for the following categories:

Best Engine
Best Dyno FWD
Best Dyno AWD
Best ¼ mile FWD
Best ¼ mile AWD
Best Interior/Audio
Best Exterior

Awards will also be presented for Best of Show, Best of Show Runner Up and the Team Trinity Award for Best DSM. Don’t forget to bring your dyno sheets and time slips to enter to win one of Team Trinity’s awards.

Feel a little hungry? We got that covered. We will be selling refreshments, to include hamburgers, hotdogs, and drinks.

So, where is all this money going? We want to get a portable dyno for the 2007 GMU DSM Meet, so the monies received will help us have an even bigger event than this year!

Go to www.team-trinity.com for more details. Hope to see you there!

definatly looking forward to seeing everyone out there. Its a really good time, meet alot of great people, and get to see some very interesting ideas about what to do with your cars.
Even though its a DSM sponsored even, Dont let that hold you back, any and all are more then welcome to show up.

car and driver had an article several years ago about a guy from Indiana that was manufacturing a kit to swap the 4.9l Ford V8 into various Volvos. apparently David Letterman purchased a turnkey car and was so happy he mentioned it on the air. he also mentioned that Paul Numan had one too. Mr. Numan didn't appreciate that much. seems that the Volvo was super fast yet invisible to cops and paparazzi, at least until his cover was blown...

Nah, '07 will be when they are shooting to bring a dyno. If you have timeslips or dyno sheets you can bring them and paper race.

We hope it will be in '07, but not this year.

Somebody, please prove me wrong.
