I started a DCAWD group with my MySpace account a couple months ago. I posted here about it but the cliff notes version is I wanted us to have a presence on MySpace to prevent any cybersquatters and to let the larger DC area internets community know a little about our club.

last week I had 2 people request to join the MS group. I admitted both of them but haven't had time to send a personal message yet. I have a "placeholder" message on the MySpace group directing people to come here for the "real" DCAWD experience.

colin: dude, myspace is this simple ass social site that is often down and nonfunctional. however, lots of people are on there... i got on there at first because some old friends were on there that i'd lost touch with.

meanwhile, it recently sold to murdoch for what, 500-600 million usd? something like that.

it has some nifty music/show tracking stuff though...
