Subaru XV Crossover Set to Debut in Frankfurt
Subaru unveiled the XV Concept at the Shanghai Motor Show earlier this year and Subaru has just announced that the XV crossover is going to have its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
The Euro-spec Subaru XV will debut at the show and according to Subaru the XV "defines a new generation of Subaru crossover vehicles." The Subaru XV is expected to come to the U.S. as the next Impreza Outback.
For now Subaru has released a teaser of the new crossover.

Daddy like! I think it's money. But I'm also the weirdo that likes the Suzuki SX4. I feel like this is the first REAL Outback Sport that we have received in the US.
Raised Suspension - Check
Extra Body Cladding - Check
Signature Interior/Exterior Changes - Check
This reminds me of the Gravel Express when it first dropped in Japan.

I saw it at the Frankfurt Auto Show. It looks better in person, if you're shopping for a small crossover. It's not my cup of tea but then neither is the new Impreza.
They also had a Forrester with a 5 speed and the turbo diesel on display.

Hmmm. Strange. I thought they ditched the 5 Speed in favor of the 6 Speed for all of the diesels? Maybe they reinforced the 5 Speed.

I'll have to dig out my pictures but I'm pretty sure it was a 5 speed.
Perhaps in my heightened state of lust I didn't notice the extra gear?

Besides price (and fanboi's), I'm wondering who buys this over a CRV or the excellent Kia
