$15 dollar solution to a $1K Problem

So someone was nice enough to punch a hole in my bumper last month. It was in the Tyson Galleria parking lot, and of course they did not leave a note. From having to replace my rear bumper last year I am guessing that the front was going to cost roughly a grand. A friend recently showed me his forester with some bumper guards installed. They did not look atrocious and just so happens are big enough to cover the puncture and do not (IMHO) look entirely gaudy. So I will ask the forum for their opinion, was it $15 well spent or a contribution to an eyesore?

P.S. I now looking for a bull / push bar for the WRX, anybody seen one?

it doesn't look terrible. But, a good shop could fix the hole for $200. Aerocolors....one of the places that repairs lot damage for car dealers. I'd call one of the better ones and ask who they use (like Beyer or Annapolis Subaru)

meh, doesn't look horrible imho, but i probably would have gone another route.

i know i've seen light bars for the wrx, but i don't know if i've seen an actual push guard.
