Ya, agreed. If they were shooting for 600HP, they would need to go that high, but I doubt they are so it will probably be much lower.

Nah, more rpms is cost prohibitive. It's far easier and cheaper to just go bigger to meet your power requirement when you're the one designing the engine.
All my cars have drum brakes and are sub 200 hp, what am I doing with my life?
