Front lip install

O hai! I just wanted to request some assistance with installing a front lip on my car. It sounds like it's a job for 2 and some equipment I don't have (but I do have a drill w00t!). It shouldn't take very long. In exchange, I can serenade you with my dulcet voice (*cough*), make you a sandwich, lovingly tuck your kids in at night, or mercilessly get back that money you're owed! You guys always decline but the offers still stand.

Thank you in advance (hopefully!) :drive:

When did you want to install the lip? I could help you Saturday morning if you were free.

Thank you for offering! Saturday morning works for me. Just let me know when is most convenient.

And whose legs do you want me to break? 8)

Does 10 AM work? Also, there is a 40% chance of rain. Is there covering near by we can commandeer if needed?

No legs to be broken yet, but all be warned.

The more the merrier.

I hadn't realized this would be a rainy weekend (sucks). I have a temporary garage area that's sheltered that could be used. Unfortunately, it's not well lit, but there is some lighting.

If it's more convenient and dry out, I can bring my car out to Springfield. Either way is fine with me. And yes, 10 am works.

Thanks again!!

Neither of us have garages, so bringing it out to Springfield won't help :( Let's just hope for the best weather. I have lights that we could hook up to your car to get some lighting under it.

i think i'm going to be busy most of the weekend, but you're welcome to bring your car and tools to my covered parking spot. just give me a heads-up and i'll make sure the bike it out of the spot.

if you need to be out of the rain, of course.

I'm good with either place. Thank you for the offer Colin. Another option would be to go to a parking garage, like Metro.

Yes, thank you for the offer indeed. I think we should be ok at my building if J is able to bring the lights. But thanks for offering your spot. Much appreciated.

The wrx looks terrific with the lip. Special thanks to Adam for his hard work and expertise.

I'll post pics after I get the bird crap off my car.

New shoes and a new lip: looks good. 8)

Any photos where the black lip on the black car isn't in a black shadow?

Thanks guys. I found a decent set of P7s online that needed a little TLC. A trip to Wheel Worx got them looking nice. The wheel caps are actually for the PFF7 but they fit (the P7 caps were in a sorry state).

Overall, I think I'm done with cosmetic mods. I took the WRX to the Carlisle Import and Kit show this weekend where it got a nice reaction. I actually took home an award from the Saab show :P
