I have to say, I've never been a fan of this car... but it looks real good in the picture above. Now if they could get the ass as good looking as the front...
Pretty interesting that they came out with this. I'd love to see the dyno graph for this thing!
Porsche has unveiled the diesel version of the popular Panamera, which is scheduled to go on sale in the UK this August.
The diesel-powered Panamera is powered by a 3.0L turbodiesel V6 that puts out 250 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels. It reaches 0-62 mph in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 150 mph. Porsche claims that the Panamera diesel will get 43.5 mpg on the European cycle, which will allow it to travel up to 745 miles on a single tank.
The model will come standard with Porsche's Active Suspension Management system, front and rear park assist, bi-xenon headlights and a navigation system. The only way that buyers will really be able to differentiate the diesel powered model from the other Panamera versions will be the "diesel" badging on the front doors.
Pricing is set to start at £62,134 in the UK
