I thought the N/A hoods were heavier than the turbo hoods?

Yes they are heavier, but much cheaper than teh JDM aluminium RS hood...

Doesn't really matter too much now though

I'll take the extra weight, hail resistance, paint adhesion, and ditch my scoop for that unique factor.

take it from someone who has done the hood swap and had to lift up both hoods to bolt them into place. the 05 RS hood is heavier. yeah. but not by that much. we're talking like... you're returning your library books and you put them in the back seat kind of weight here. people make a bigger deal out of it than it really is. yeah i know every little bit adds up but if you don't want a scoop... the weight gain is hardly something to fret over
