Cheap server hosting

I'm exploring options for hosting a Minecraft server. Unfortunately, hosting a gaming server generally requires far greater upstream than my cable modem can provide. So I'm wondering if you guys know of an places to have it done for cheap.

ordinarily for hosting i'd be quick to say ec2 or slicehost.
but for a dedicated gaming server, you might want to look into something like
minecraftserverhost.net
dunno mang.

...I didn't even think to google for dedicated minecraft servers.

BTW, along these lines:
Minecraft CPU Has Memory, Performs Division
This *almost* beats the Enterprise... but not quite, haha.

i was watching this last night. very cool! i liked his "random" number generator.
