Then you sir are a lucky man. I admit the music is pretty good. It's his politics that make me nuts.

Now that I can understand! It's only the music I care for myself. I used to work for the White House Military Office when I was in the Navy and I was once sent to pick her up at BWI and take her to Camp David for a formal dinner and movie preview. We hit it off great and got pretty close. Ahh, those were the days. It was the 19K a year I had problems with!

That sucks! Ya, I like their music as well and would like to see them in concert some time just for the experience.

wtf they're great live. don't mix politics in you toolbag

toolbag, eh? i gotta admit it irritates me a little when he is up on stage preaching about free trade and taking care of the less fortunate people around the world, throwing it back at "the man" who is rasing all prices to the point where normal people cannot afford it anymore - and then their band charges 80 freaking dollars a ticket.
it's more than a little hypocritical if you ask me. but like i've said before, i have always been impressed with their music - the politics do kind of detract from the experience. the single most sustaining facet of a band's longevity is always the fans' support. if you make them feel like idiots for spending hard earned money to see you, not too cool.
