I realize this isn't a "funny" plate, but it did strike me as a little odd that I'd never seen this before.
Saw a motorcycle on the beltway the other morning with diplomatic plates. In this area, we see plenty of cars / SUVs / vans / etc. with diplomatic plates, but I don't recall ever seeing a motorcycle with them before.
For the record, I couldn't tell what the motorcycle was (though it was a touring bike with twin exhausts that came up underneath the seat). And for those who are curious,
here's a primer on diplomatic plate letters / numbers. Note the newest design for the plates at the bottom of the page (new design issued late 2007).

It could be with the right mods.
A turbo-back, Intercooler, intake and tune in a 135, 335, 535, etc, can net some very impressive numbers.
Vishnu's Stage 1 (cat-back and tune) 335 put down 350 whp and 400 ftlbs on a Dynojet and ran a sub 13 1/4 mile at 110 mph. IIRC
The Bimmer forums have many, MANY posts of modified N54 and N55 BMWs running low 12 1/4 miles on stock turbos.

This one looked (and sounded) completely stock. Trust me, I'd love to do nasty things (as in mods, haha) to a 335 (or even better, a 335d).
