^^^ A couple of guys did it last year... With your drive, it definitely makes sense. I'm thinking about doing it this year too.

i've been to owasp, blackhat dc, and shmoocon. shmoocon is definately the best. of course, it's a lot more technically oriented, and you have to get the nerd humor, but it's prob one of the few cons i'd actually pay out of pocket for.

Shmoocon is definitely my favorite out of BH Vegas and DEFCON. I'd really like to get out to Toorcon (more hardware related). BH Vegas is good for shmoozing the crowd and vendors, DEFCON is great for socializing and contests, but Shmoocon brings the content and a feeling of friends that can't be found anywhere else.
