if anybody is a member of any other forums, feel free to cross post but PLEASE do so within the rules of the respective forums. I can't stress that part enough. everybody is welcome but respect others forums like we want them to respect ours.

if we could get all 12 slots filled we'll have a great time and pay a little less each. yeah, I'm a cheep #*@%!

I'll coordinate with the club officers and post detailed info this weekend.

You can add my mom, Mary, to the 1/2 list.

So at this point the best option for everyone looks like merging the two groups and having it at Aberdeen. I'll talk to Brian about how he would be able to mix a level 1/2/3 to keep everyone interested. Does anyone have any objections to this?

So Brian has given me the thumbs up on doing a 1/2/3 class. The folks at the higher level (folks with confirmed autox experience or have taken the 1/2 in the past) will focus more on driving than the initial tech stuff they go over in the 1/2, and the instructors will be a little more picky.

I am going to have Brian check the availability of 17th and 23rd, and also June 12th, June 13th and June 14th.

Everyone, please send me a PM stating which of these 5 days you can make, can not make, and your preference. With a group this big we need to have folks as flexible as possible.

Final price will be $165, please gather up your money, but do not send it yet.

First post updated.

Ok, to make this a little more clear... Please send me a table, with each of the days filed in with either a n (no, absolutely can not do), y (yes, can do) or p (yes, can do and prefer this date) For example:

17-May: n
23-May: n
12-Jun: y
13-Jun: p
14-Jun: y

I know it seems anal, but its gonna make it easier to do this for 11 other people if I can get some consistency. Thanks for the patience.

I never been to one of these these but I would like to what goes on there and what it's all about. Is there some way I could go there just to watch but not be part of the class? You know, kinda of do like a site survey before I actually start autox'ing myself.

Yep, you can do this. They will want you to sign a waiver if you are going to be around, but thats nothing really. other than your left leg and second born child

IMHO, it would be smarter and simpler to come to a normal autox on a weekend in the NoVA/DC area rather than take a weekday to drive down and and watch an autox school. Of course, the potential downside to this would be that you get hooked from watching and then sign up for the school. ;)

BTW, DC is having an autox on May 13 if you wanted to come out and watch or get ridealongs. It's on a Saturday.

several of the guys signed up for the advanced class don't AutoX, they just take the classes. no driving course is a waste of time IMHO. even if you don't get into AutoX it's valuable. I doubt that I'll become an AutoX fiend like some people  but I can't wait to take the class.

any time in June is great with me.

Class is from 8am to 3pm, but you are not required to stay the whole day (but you need to be there at the beginning for tech inspection and rules). Location would be Ripkin Stadium Its a haul, probably look into dinner afterwards as a group to kill some time before getting on the highway.
