Hmm...looks like there may be hope for the new models. Looks a lot like the toyota matrix from that rear shot...wonder how much influence toyota is having on subaru?

^ i can work with that. needs some nicer wheels and a hood scoop though (i'm starting to think i'm the only subaru fan who *likes* the raised scoops). why is subaru insistent on dual tailpipes though?

What's with the rear view mirrors sticking out of the front fenders, though? That seems to be a "thing" in a lot of Asian countries. You see some of the luxury models in Japan and Korea with those.
I just don't see how they'd be desirable as a luxury feature.

I think front fender mirror is hot...kind of like a big juicy pimple on your face ready to explode!

the mirrors help with the blind spot but I think they're ugly. when I finally got an old Z car in Gran Turismo (my first car was a 280ZX

) I was really upset that those ugly mirrors were on there. they really disrupted the flow of the body lines IMHO...
this shot of the new Forrester is the best I've seen. I can work with this.

and for the record: I like the small Subaru hood scoop. functional FTW!

well it would look worlds better with a drop. it needs one more so than any other forester model yet.

It's Retro-Fail. Chrome steel has given way to chrome plastic. And its EVERYWHERE!!

And the subaru chrome plastic is nearly impossible to paint or at least to get the paint to adhere well/properly to the plastic.

...ask me how I know...on multiple occasions

New interior shot (lousy as usual):
And of course the two trim choices:

looks like the impreza interior.

Well, it is still off the same platform.

yeah but it literally looks like the same interior, from dash to floor. at least in previous models the forester had a more rugged (looking) choice of trimmins.
