Yes organize! (heh heh... organ) I'll be there I want to see how much more W00T B. Lightning has since the mods.
hehe, so you'll be on he dyno?Libra Monkee wrote:Yes organize! (heh heh... organ) I'll be there I want to see how much more W00T B. Lightning has since the mods.
different shop, and this dyno setup is amazing!Osiros wrote:Not 100% on where I'll be for the long weekend but I'll know more as the date gets closer. If I'm here I'd definitely be interested in seeing what the mods have done to the wagon although that's quite the price difference from the last dyno day we had.........
I'm agreeing with what others are saying about possibly putting it off a bit though until we can make it a true club day and get more of our group out there.

after going to Stage 2 you should get a dyno with AFRs done to see exactly what's going on. if you're too rich then there is power to be had; if you're too lean you need a safety margin.
Trust me, if you want a good stage 2 tune, this is the day to do it. My tuner will be out there making his rounds and I'm sure he would not mind touching up tunes, or making new ones for people. The best part is he is "cheap" and does amazing tunes.Osiros wrote:*re-assesses level of commitment to Dyno Day and turns knob to the right*Mr Kleen wrote:different shop, and this dyno setup is amazing!Osiros wrote:Not 100% on where I'll be for the long weekend but I'll know more as the date gets closer. See, here I was thinking I wasn't in a hurry to get the XT all modded out, and now you've got me thinking! If I play my cards right, I may be able to have the XT ready by the 27th, and if your tuner was willing to do a the tune that day I don't see how I could pass it up!spazegun2213 wrote:Trust me, if you want a good stage 2 tune, this is the day to do it. Did you go w/ a different tuner, Ross? Or you still w/ Jeff? Jeff just tweaked my car real nice for my latest setup.spazegun2213 wrote:Trust me, if you want a good stage 2 tune, this is the day to do it. I [should] have a front sway bar to install this weekend, and I owe you a favor already...drwrx wrote:Let's run the check list shall we:
1. I have the turbo already
2. I'll get Julian's TMIC
3. I'll get a set of headers and up-pipe from Zak
4. I can pick-up a down-pipe easily enough
5. I have the axle-back exhaust ordered and it's on the way
I'd just have to install everything, get some sort of base map on it, and get it there for a tune. I think it can be done.
My install would be much more involved than just a returned "favor."Mr Kleen wrote:I [should] have a front sway bar to install this weekend, and I owe you a favor already...

Headers, up-pipe, down-pipe and turbo is an all day job. Now, if there were four of us on the task, it could be banged-out in about 6 hours.

Sounds fun, but if you are doing it this weekend, my headers are down in Buckingham.drwrx wrote: My install would be much more involved than just a returned "favor."

Nothing that would really help. I have a cat-back to put on now, but that should be easy enough (he says knocking on wood). A rear sway will take no time the front sway I can't speak for as I've never done one, I've heard horror stories though.Mr Kleen wrote:any prelim FXT work we can do this weekend? my front sway came in and I think Allan has a rear sway to install.
Do you have an aftermarket DP as well?drwrx wrote:Nothing that would really help. I have a cat-back to put on now, but that should be easy enough (he says knocking on wood).
