Not necessarily. I'm accustomed to Subarus looking, well, a little different. I rather liked the way the bugeye looked, and I'm sad that Subaru is once again homogenizing their cars (the "weird" 2006 front being gone, etc).

The point of this being, an LGT might be just as fast as an RS4 (in fact, I would hope it was) given the same dollar amount.
For the same dollar amount, I'd agree. But when a LGT can be made to match the RS4 for less than half the price, I think thats where a high dollar value can exceed a high sentimental value.
As for the new LGT, I like the new stock grille better than the old stock grille. I'd still replace either with a handcrafted mesh thingy like mine.
