+1 on the wheel locks. I was in a shady part of town and my friend had his wheels stolen off his subaru. I did not. I had wheel locks. He did not. Doesnt prevent theft but it can deter

our speedos are already "off" but no that aspect ratio will be really, really close to stock.

If anything your speedo will read faster as well as the ratio increases.

Just got some crap from the insurance company (state farm) that they won't be putting 07 wheels on an 05, so whatever they give me will have the appropriate similar wear on them, and also they will deduct a % from the tire cost since they have 11,000 on them as well. I have to take my car to their 'drive in' to get it inspected and valuated. Anyone else ever had to deal with this crap?

That "kinda" sounds along the lines of reasonable... I guess. I can understand them wanting to evaluate the car, but I'm not too sure about why they wouldn't be willing to cut you a check for the replacement cost. Nevermind the fact that you'll be losing your deductable too!

Is it worth getting a quote in writing from the dealership to take with you? That might help get the $$ closer to where you think it should be.

Either way, sorry as hell you got your sh*t jacked - it's a crappy experience either way.

I'm out $1600 from state farm, so I hate them. They are cheap bastards and two people from my accident had to take them to court to pay for reasonable repair costs.

There's a guy on the forum with some forged lugnuts for sale. I would bet those are strong enough that nobody could steal your wheels.

You might consider getting some OZ or American racing magnesium wheels Spendy of course, but lowering rotational mass means you get to redline a lot quicker

They will be on the car when the weather is warm again but I wanted to get the wheels/tires on closeout ( read: cheaper ).

Currently I have some cheap ASA wheels with Dunlop Wintersport M3s
in case... it snows

So I get the wheels/tires and they look AWESOME. Except for the big hole
in the center of each wheel Where do I buy some sweet center caps? Maybe the 07 STI ones? How do I know what will fit?

same vendor you bought the wheels from? buy center caps made for the wheels you bought. I'm pretty sure they aren't very interchangeable, but I could be wrong about that.
