Howdy, Mark. What's a "six bolt swap"?
I believe he's referring to the
six bolt engine.

The early DSMs (90-early92) had a 4G63 engine that used 6 bolts to attach the flywheel to the crank. These engines were less prone to "crank walk". It is common to swap the older engines into the newer body style.
Some comparison info can be found here:

Wow, thanks. It's pretty incredible to look at the changes auto manufacturers make from year to year (or even body to body, look at the AT vs MT turbo in the older DSM's). The stuff that would take us tuners a couple months to figure out, the big guys have entire engineering teams dedicated to it, and can crank it out in a much shorter period of time. Ah well, I should stop hijacking threads.

The new wheels are an improvement, but then I've always loved the OZ Superleggeras; good looking, light and strong, what more could you want from a wheel. And don't sweat the suspension thing, mine's completely re-done and I've still got some serious gap in the front.
The twin turbo v6 S4 is one of my favorite audis.
