No, I don't mean that as a
grammAr check.

What I mean is "glad you found each other" is usually what you say to people who are going out with each other.

i'll post higher rez pics when i get the corner splitters installed.
the deal with izzodesh wend down flawlessly. swapped the hoods with just the two of us quickly and fairly easily.
however my desire to buy an STi or to at least reproduce that deep rumble is rekindled. Next project will be exhaust headers to give it that meaner sounding engine.. and possibly a way to use that hood scoop as a CAI

you don't need headers to get that boxer rumble. I got a great sound out of just a TXS muffler. I couldn't tell much of a difference when I installed the DP or UP, pretty much all that nice sound is the muffler. I have heard that equal length headers will kill some of the Subaru "sound" but I can't substantiate this.

^^^ Correct. The boxer rumble comes from having unequal length headers. If you put equal length headers on a Subaru, it sounds like a Honda

If you want more sound, just start replacing parts of the exhaust

only other thing he did to it was an exhaust tip.. but he claims it was the headers.. and the sound isnt coming out the back end.. its coming from under the hood. haha. my thing is. i hate cars that have loud exhaust.. i prefer the sound coming from under the hood to be louder since any honda or chevy can slap a kazoo on their tailpipe and give it a louder sound. but i duno whatever you guys recommend.. im not dropping a whole lot of cash into this RS. It's not worth allt hat much time or money to me. but until i age a bit and can afford/safely drive a STi.. im just gona have fun with what i have

Which is EXACTLY what ya should do. It amazing how many people buy cars that they have no idea how to drive. I'll admit that I probably should have had more high speed/powerful car driving experience before I bought the STI. lol, just as Jason (ElZorro) about the first time I took him out! Now I know my car's limits and how to push them, haha.

yeah unlike most people my age im not an idiot. i know if i had one i'd be going too fast and i would drive too agressively. doesnt change the fact that i really want one... but im limiting myself

haha trust me after i reflect on how i drive the 2.5 RS .... i REALLY know i dont need an STi.. i've never wrecked through any fault of my own (and only once ever when someone else was to blame)... but from what i hear it is a scary ride when i decide to go "all out".. i can be nice and safe when people are in the car. but when provoked by friends or in an adventerous mood... i sometimes develop "richard burns" syndrome... the back roads of PA... mostly in poor repair...sharp and hairpin bends... no cops around... back dirt roads with sharp bends... yeah they have an effect on you

Ya, I know that feeling... coming back from Oak Hill WV this weekend (did some AWESOME climbing up there) I took the back roads. Check out Rt. 50 if you're ever in the area. WOW, that was alot of fun...

yeah imagine that but every day... i enjoy living out here in terms of driving... it never gets old... i rarely am foudn on highways simply because i can get to the same places by skipping the straight "highway" driving and taking back roads... downside is.. it takes up tremendous amounts of gas in the long run and is hell on the tires... but it does continue to be quite the amazing experience
