What part of it are you trying to sign up for?
I'm not camping, but don't let that stop anybody. I'll stop by the camp sight and drop off supplies if necessary.Osiros wrote:Looking at it purely from a functional "going out there to do X, Y, and Z" standpoint that much is true. I was looking at it more from a 2 day long car centered party viewpoint.
me no get instructions?!?zaxrex wrote:Y'all get your hyperdrive participant instructions from hypoerdrive registrar? I didn't know there were 7 sessions. Should we try and make things complicated and stagger our participation so we can get video of members driving bye?
Code: Select all
You are confirmed as a Hyperdrive Entrant for Hyperfest ’06 on July 8!
Thanks for registering to be a part of the 5th Annual Hyperfest at Summit Point! Please go here for general event info, directions, schedule and more:
http://www.hyper-fest.com/
GENERAL INFO: To take part in the hyperdrives, you must be 18 years of age with a valid state issued driver’s license.
GATE HOURS: You may arrive at 8AM on Saturday morning, and general admission gates open at 9:30AM on Saturday July 8. The gate fee is $20 per person.
PARKING: Follow the signs that say Spectator Parking or General Admission. Park here, and return your car here after your hyperdrive session.
ARRIVAL PROCEDURES: Once you have parked, please walk to the Information Booth and indicate to staff that you are a paid, registered Hyperdrive participant. Select the session you are interested in, and you will receive a voucher. There are 7 session times that day, and arrive early if you have a preference. Your voucher will state the time you need to be at your classroom session. At the end of the classroom time, you will receive an on track pass which you will allow you out on track. Many of you have signed up for more than one session, so you will receive vouchers for the number of sessions you have chosen.
We advise arriving early and selecting the first session if possible so that you can fully enjoy the remainder of the day’s activities on stage, on track and in the vendor area. Plus you may want to take advantage of cooler temps for your track session and let those that didn’t preregister have the heat of the day!
You will not need a number for your car.
CLASSROOM: It is your responsibility to attend the classroom session. If you miss the classroom, you will not get out on track. An on-track pass will be given at the end of class for you to use at grid. If you are participating in more than one Hyperdrive session, you may ask the Chief Instructor for permission to attend only your first classroom session since future ones will be repeats (you must ask permission however, so that he can give you an on-track pass). Failure to comply with the rules set by the classroom instructor or driving in a dangerous manner will result in termination of your session.
We have a limited number of loaner helmets available; however, you are encouraged to bring your own. You will need an M95, SA95 or newer Snell Rated helmet.
FULL EVENT SCHEDULE WILL BE POSTED ASAP WITH ALL HYPERDRIVE SESSIONS LISTED:

they didn't ask me to remove my center caps at HPDE, but they might this time. I have to remove the wheels to do that...zaxrex wrote:Just remember to remove your center caps on your wheels. I think that is the only difference between Solo tech and HPDE tech, right Gabe?
