I'm proud to announce a sponsorship from Moore Performance & Race Parts! Very excited about the opportunity to run a custom exhaust tailored to exactly the specs I want and need.

A little more info on the exhaust. I have a few options on what I could do but I'm going with this setup for now:

3 inch exhaust with just simple 3 inch tip

The EWG downpipe will also be fabbed up with this batch

This is a great exhaust sponsorship becuase it allows me to modify things as needed. The exhaust is very easy to work on and VERY modular. I can add resonators/cats in as necessary if noise requirements dictate so.

Would anyone be interested in a 2006 WRX transmission with PPG straight cut gears and selector forks? The PPG internals have 0 miles on them. Possibly looking at a 6-speed dogbox. Super strong case, gears, and very quick shifts.

I'm very happy to welcome on Engaged Performance as a sponsor! Their PnP and coating services are quality and I'm happy to have them on-board

Among other things the entire exhaust system (header to exhaust tip) will receive a full thermal coating. Stay tuned for more.

Talked with an acquaintance of mine from DC Shoes. It looks like once the car is completed it will be paired up with some more local (Mid-Atlantic Region) DC Shoes promos. It'll be parked outside to whip up the rally fanbois. Looks like things are starting to pick up!

Eh. Considering all the other problems and set-backs I think maybe this might break even :rolllaugh:

I think the under-tray is still good.
Both, if you have them. I just need to see how the under tray and liners sit together, so under tray condition is not oo important.

First page updated.

The girl decided she wants to contribute to my safety and sort of let slip one of her Christmas presents for me this year as well.

Just an update. Work continues on the GC (slowly). Now that the holidays are over things should resume and I should be getting some new progress pics up over the course of the next few weeks.

It's easier to manage when you put all of this data into excel or visio. Basically you have to prioritize things. And also some semblance of work that needs to be sequential instead of linear. A common problem with this is you have an engine sitting on the stand. You have two items (work on the new engine, remove the old engine, and install the engine) that have to be installed in a certain way. I've got the spreadsheet for the Z if you want it. it's my last name at gmail.

Aside, best of luck. From where I sit this looks to be a multi-year project. Persevere and get money.

The time-frame is unknown really. It'll take however long it takes really. I might use the excel idea.

Slight change in the plan. Looks like I'll be running Ver 5/6 Type RA cams instead of the Crowers. This is mainly a money-saving decision. I'm getting the RA cams for next to nothing and it will still be able to give me a high revving motor.

It's tough to see in those pics but the original seat mounting points have also been removed. You can see them laying on the ground in the 3rd pic. New (better) ones are getting welded in.

Very minor update. Trimming the last of the fat off the interior. Preventing any places for water or any debris to hide behind/under. This might seem like overkill to some but the attention to detail aspect of this build is important to me. Everything in the pics is coming off.

Rear seat reinforcements

Console bracket (plus you can see the newly welded floor plugs) Fabbing our own bracket to mount the CF dash

Floorpan and wheel well plates

Again, nothing exciting. Just the last of the stripping before Andrew starts bending metal and it starts to look more like a rally car!

Same adv with longer dur. Can't remember the number off the top of my head. It combined with the improved valves/springs and the already built shortblock it will allow me to rev the motor out past 8k
