30th aniversary of Quattro births new RS5

Post by zaxrex »

Remember when Audi said that there is no RS5 on the drawing boards and will never be in production? Yeah, they lied. At the Geneva auto show they unwrapped the not-going-to-be-built car.
8,500 RPM 4.2L V8 with 450 HP and 317 tq
New Quattro with power shiftable to 70% front or 85% rear.
15 inch ceramic carbon fiber rotors
Speed activated spoiler
And it looks good too.

Wow, nice! Seeing them on the road, I do wish the 5 was smaller though :( It's a BIG car!

That might be one of the best looking cars I have ever seen. Well done Audi (not that you don't already know).
