Autocross numbers?
Do any of you have any recs for sites/places that sell magnetic numbers that aren't insanely expensive? I'd like to pay less than $100 for two sets (letters + numbers on each side). Thanks!

I looked around before an HPDE a couple years ago and was amazed at how expensive they are. I even tried to get magnetic film and make my own, but that stuff is expensive too!

Are you looking for magnetic or would vinyl do? DCAWD has a vinyl specialist who would probably give you a good deal He's name is Scott.... and I can't remember his screen name, damn it! I'll find it!
Found his e-mail: scottmerker @ gmale (yes, I spelled it wrong on purpose b/c of SPAM)

For magnetic you can look at SSC tint. The owner runs with and helps sponsor the local AI autocross series.

What events are you planning on running this year?
Or you can buy a roll of magnetic sheeting from a craft store and make ones that look like this. The vent covers you can get at lowes/HDR/Wal-mart are a lot thinner and do not stay on as well.

Re: Autocross numbers?
those belong on a sign, not a car.
i caved though late last night and bought them from izoomgraphics.com. they had the most reasonable prices of the sites i searched. thank you though for your recommendations. i can't post on forums at work, so i couldn't reply earlier.
i signed up with the DC SCCA and plan on going to some of the solo events this year. there's a practice tomorrow for members, but i'm not going to have my stuff together before then - but if any of you guys belong, it's at fedex field, bright and early! i plan on running in the DS class.moxnix wrote: What events are you planning on running this year?
