The D.I.R.T (Dirty Impreza Rally Team) and friends made its way back into the barren California desert to put their cars through the paces. New on this trip was the Project Rally RS getting its first taste of some airtime and fast sweeping desert roads. Jackson Rally's Open Class STi was of course doing everything bigger and faster than everyone else, much to the delight of everyone that got to ride along and watch. There was a super fun roller on the dirt road a few miles away from camp that was the site for most of the jumping we did. Depending on who was driving, people were hitting this ramp anywhere between 50 and 100 mph. We met up with some of the Cal City locals who got in on the fun too. Hope you enjoy the video, if you like what you see here be sure to drop by DirtyImpreza.com - The Off-Road Impreza Community for more off-road Impreza action.

Awesome! Am I correct in the way to take those is to keep on the throttle through the air?

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

You actually want to lift while in the air (not before your car comes off the ground as this will pitch the nose down). You never want to stay on the throttle in the air, as when the car comes down a difference in speed on the wheels will shock the entire drivetrain. Ive seen entire gearboxes grenade themselves because of this.

Great to know! I knew there was a way for this to happen, so I figured you'd have the right way to do it after seeing that!
