Safari users....a little halp?
So I'm using the Safari 4 beta (on Windows) and am having a hard time with something....it's not showing linked images....they show as a little question mark in a blue box. I checked through the settings and nothing really jumped out at me. What am I missing?

You're missing Chrome! Sorry, couldn't help it!

I haven't abandoned Firefox.
And I have Chrome....I just like seeing what different browsers are out there.

I try just about everything out there (hehe), but haven't tried Safari yet on the PC (Have it on my IPhone obviously). Definitely post up your impressions. I'll give it a whirl soon

First impression is the speed. It's a pretty quick little browser. Interface is pretty sweet too. Nice and clean. The default new tab shows your most frequented sites (a la chrome...but prettier). They've done a nice job with it.
Not a big fan of trying to manage my imported bookmarks...I still haven't gotten that to work properly. And, it's still in beta...real beta, not google beta, so it hangs on you every once in a while.
Overall, I like it....quite a bit actually. Wondering if it has the potential to pull a few away from firefox.

I played around with Safari for Windows when it came out. It's a sufficient browser. Much like Chrome (which is based off of Safari) it's interface is very simple, loads pages relatively quickly, and is very pretty. But, it doesn't allow me as much control over the content it displays as much as other browsers I become accustomed to like Opera and Firefox.

I'm using Safari Beta now too. I find it noticably slower than Firefox, and it hangs while loading certain embedded objects. The only reason why I continue to torture myself is for the sake of bookmark synching with my iPod.

Re: Safari users....a little halp?
Personally, I wouldn't use Safari on a PC. When running windows, I use firefox. I know Sabre is pretty sold on chrome.
Also, the betas for windows are always more buggier (is that even grammatically correct??) than their os x counterparts.
I'd be inclined to wait for the final product to be released, if one were still interested in trying safari.
(i totally understand running back into the safe clutches of firefox...on windows anyways.)
