DCAWD Meet - Thursday, November 18th, 2004 - Dave and Buster

Post by Sabre »

Hello all,
The next meeting of DC All Wheel Drive will be on thursday, 11/18/04 at 7:15. This is a regular meet, so we will be meeting for a little while, then going inside to enjoy the fun! If any one has not been to D&B's, think of it as an adult arcade. Lot's of fun things to do (including a 8 person driving game!).

When you get to the mall, just follow the direction on the signs to Dave and Busters. When you come to the top of the parking lot, make a left and head to the corner, we will be there :)

Dave and Busters is located at:
White Flint Mall
11301 ROCKVILLE PIKE
Noth Bethesda, MD
(301) 230-5151

Link of map: here

Pictures of past meets can be found here.

Most up to date information found in our forum here.

Let me know if you are coming so that we can try to keep an accurate count.

PLEASE keep things reasonable coming into the parking lot. Take care all and I hope to see you there!

Note: This is an AWD, we meet no matter what Mother Nature throws at us! We are not retricted in anyway to AWD, we weclome anyone with a love of cars!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

Hot damn! A meet in my AO! Are we meeting on the upper level of the parking garage? I assume so. None the less, I am sure there will be other subies out there!

Yep, his car is done now as well. At least the first stage anyway. I have not seen it since he has done the sti conversion but it is pretty much just like mine. I don't believe he has gotten his exhaust yet though. I just can not understand why Cobb is so slow on those.

It's scary what the two of you are doing to those forresters ;) I took a look on Sunday, it looks real good and obviously works well (he kept up just fine :) He still has your old exhaust. Lot's of places are slow right now, must be the holidays :/

Color me there. Cross fingers that I might be driving something blue.

Diving on Saturday was good, saw a shark and baracuda. Sunday it was a little windy, none of the boats went out, so we did the 'gater farm thing. I was very impressed with the scenery at South Beach. :)

N00b or not, you're always welcome :) Feel free to come up and introduce yourself to Jason and I (Julian). I've driving a 04STI with Sabre in the plates. I'm thinking I'll be wearing grey with jeans tonight.

I haven't picked out my outfit yet, but since Julian got me thinking I'm probably going to go with the biker outfit from The Village People...

I know those guys are just doing their job but this was supposed to be approved and I think that is what has gotten a few of us ramped up. I just do not think they corrdinated it with security. Sure, DB got their money and that is probably what they care about. But I can say that with the treatment we got, there will probably be a few of us that will not be too excited about going back!

Yea, our first time there didn't work out as planned. No one expected the problems we encountered. Julian will be talking to D&B today to see what kind of support they can give us in the future. If they can't provide any we won't be going back.
