Posting this up for a friend. Encompass is playing the Old Town Theater in Alexandria, 9:55PM show, on December 10th.

I may try to make it, who knows.

too bad their video clip doesn't work...

as a former drummer and friend of many a musician, this picture scares me:

are these guys any good? are they heavy? are they free-form jazz exploration?

but he's got teh ch1nA X 2!!!!!!!!11111, he's GOT to be as good as that guy from nirvana. :rolllaugh:

serioulsy, how the crap can you five stroke down the toms with all that crap in the way... i'm curious... of course unless he's one of those mutant fusion drummers who can sprout additional limbs to instantly make the beats more complicated than normal humans can do.

i had a drum instructor in H.S. once that I swore had at least one extra set of hands tucked away somewhere - and they only came out when he'd launch into some crazy 13 measure solo - while playing in some stupid crazy 5/4 or 6/8 time.

Impressive - yes

Normal - NO.

uhhhh, what was my point again???

Ok, answers to the questions:

1) decide 4 yourselves!! if u like dream theatre (mike portnoy's drumming,) then u'll like encompass

2) they rock my briefs, boxers, & panties off, depending if i am crossdressing that day or not

3) bite me

4) free form exploration...hmmm---that sounds good! :)

Getting some questions, figured I'd let the band manager handle them:

"teh question remains...are they any good?
do they r0xx0r ur b0xx0rs?
or
do they have teh suck? "

and

"are these guys any good? are they heavy? are they free-form jazz exploration?"
(oh, and if you can't tell from the context, manager is female, that probably helps with the crossdresser statement)
