looking for a spare tire that will fit over my BBK. I know it's a long shot but if anybody happens to see a part out or wrecked STi let me know...

the 05 STi switched bolt patterns? I thought it didn't change until 06-07?

Nope, 04STI is 5x100, 06+ is 5x114. WRX has stayed 5x100 since it's inception.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.

so I was correct in that the 2005 STi bolt pattern is 5x100?

nope. you is still wrong. and now so is julian. pretty much every suby is 5x100 past and present except for old four luggers and 05 to present sti's. from 05 up they went with a bigger lug pattern to get rid of the gumball machine wheel bearings we have and to change the suspension geometry. sorry.

i'll trade you my sti spare if you still have your wrx spare. i just need some kind of donut in the back of the leggy. the leggy tire my mom had back there was a bit on the scary side. i've got a bbs in the back of the sti. so i don't really need the donut anymore.

I'm going to check to be sure the donut won't fit over the front 4 pots this weekend. if it won't fit I'd be grateful for a trade. :P

after a test fit today I can say 100% that a 2004 WRX "donut" spare will NOT fit over the Subaru 4 pot front brakes.
